HOW WE WORK

An operation, not a project

Documentation fails for structural reasons. It is funded as a project, owned by nobody between projects, and measured by whether it exists rather than whether it works. We are set up to run it as a function instead.

Managed knowledge operations

Your documentation becomes a function we run, to an agreed standard, for a fixed monthly fee.

What you get

A named Knowledge Architect who learns your product and stays. An editorial standard written for your context and enforced consistently. A review cycle tied to your release cycle, so content is updated as part of shipping rather than after it. A monthly report showing what changed, what is ageing, and where users are failing to find what they need.

How it is priced

A fixed monthly fee, set from the audit, held for twelve months. Volume moves within an agreed band without repricing. You are buying a maintained knowledge base, not a number of hours.

What we need from you

Access to the people who know things, a standing slot in the release process, and one person on your side who can make a decision.

When it is not the right fit

If your product has stabilised and your documentation is largely correct, you do not need this. Say so and we will scope a project instead.

Knowledge engineering

A defined problem, a written scope, a fixed price, an end date.

01

AI readiness assessment

Your content was written for a person scrolling a page. Retrieval needs it chunked, disambiguated, consistently titled and stripped of contradiction.

02

Knowledge base restructure

Years of accumulated pages, reorganised around the questions users actually arrive with rather than the shape of your organisation.

03

Expertise capture

A specialist is retiring, moving, or is the only person who understands a legacy integration. We capture that knowledge before it disappears.

04

Platform migration

Move between documentation systems without losing version history, cross references or valuable context.

05

API documentation rebuild

Reference material developers can integrate against confidently without opening a support ticket.

Embedded specialists

Our people inside your team, on your tools, attending your standups.

Fast onboarding

Twenty-seven years of recruiting in this discipline is the whole advantage. We place specialists who already understand your kind of product, your users and your documentation.

Flexible engagement

Monthly rate per person. Scale up for launches, scale down afterwards with notice.

Commercial honesty

If a long engagement becomes more expensive than a retainer, we'll tell you and recommend the better option.

Capabilities inside every engagement

  • Knowledge architecture and information design
  • Technical documentation and user guides
  • API and developer documentation
  • Structured authoring and content standards
  • Editing, proofreading and content governance
  • Technical illustration and diagrams
  • Instructional design and elearning
  • UX writing and in-product content
  • AI content workflows and prompt engineering
  • Communications consulting

Not sure which one you need

Almost nobody is. The audit exists to answer exactly that question, and it produces something useful to you whichever way the answer goes.
